The Big East member school picked up a solid 2015 commitment with Donte Diivincenzo a 6'4" shooting guard from Wilmington Delaware who (according to Rivals) selected the Big East school over 12 other schools which included Syracuse. Boston college, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, VaTeck, Penn State, St.Joseph's University, Rhode Island and others.

Rivals ranks Mr. Divincenzo as the #78 player in the class of 2013.

SCOUT gives him 0 stars.

Otis has best of both worlds here :)
He has one scouting service ranking him high and another with no stars. He can argue that Wright is getting another top ranked player or a Butler/Creighton type diamond in the rough ;)

*In all seriousness Scout is a joke. They update things next to never.

@jeffborzello: Freshman Brandon Austin is leaving Providence. He's been suspended all season.

Supposedly already settled on Oregon I thought I saw on Twitter.

Isn't it amazing how Iowa State and Oregon are so adept at transfer game? I know you need open roster slots, but kudos to these two for working this area so effectively.

seems like they both played the rest of the game .

Not the PG

Per the article, although they could be wrong -- you know these reporters:

Gibbs injured his right knee during a first-half battle for a rebound. The sixth-year senior point guard did play the final 25 minutes.

Just saw this NBC piece/excerpt

"Grant Gibbs was also injured on Tuesday. He played just 12 minutes before heading to the locker room with a knee injury. He did not return. Hamilton reported the senior exited the locker room following the game on crutches, and not putting any weight on his right knee"

It's amazing how 2 reporters, who were prob both at the game- reported something completely different.

It could possibly be a torn ACL. If that serious, how could he possibly have played the rest of the game?

He didn't. The box score shows that he only played 12 minutes. For the sake of the conference, I hope he is okay. It sounds like McDermott has a stinger.

@GoodmanESPN: Creighton's Grant Gibbs told ESPN he has Dislocated knee cap. No torn ACL or MCL. Out 4-6 weeks.
