Queue not qualifying next year in 3, 2, 1:

@GrantTraylor: Huntington Prep's Angel Delgado is no longer with team due to academic reasons. He will transfer over Christmas break.

Didn't people say no shot he will qualify?

Pretty much.

@ESPNLunardi: FIRST OUT: Marq, GW, Tenn, Xavier. NEXT FOUR: Cincy, NDame, Butler, Cal. FOUR MORE: St. John's, Ole Miss, Illinois, SMU

One of the last big weekends for the Big East in OOC schedule.

G-town v. Kansas (trailing by ten at the half)
Xavier v. Alabama
Marquette v. New Mexico
Creighton v. Cal (who they beat by double-digits last year)

After this weekend, there is no too much left for the conferences to build up its RPI. Next weekend: Nova takes on #2 Syracuse next week, Providence plays #22 Umass, DePaul plays Northwestern, and Xavier plays Wake Forest.

Every game is important, because these are teams we will play twice each--and our opponents will be playing them twice each.

Josh smith looks very good offensively.

I've just gotten in, and now tuning into the game.

I bet he's looked rather poor on the defensive end. I've seen G'town play a few times this season, and as good as Smith is on the offensive end.... He's a liability on defense.

A lot of Big East teams in this list. Our games against Villanova will be huge. We need to play well in those.

Not Big East, but the ND loss to Ohio State was brutal and one of the worst meltdowns in recent memory. Up 8 with the ball and about 1:20 to go and they just succumb to the OSU pressure and make one boneheaded play after another. Awful.

Xavier takes down yet another major conference opponent (thank God for the new teams), defeating Alabama. Marquette up 7 over a good New Mexico team. Man, G'town really let down the Big East today. They got crushed by Kansas.

Hopefully Creighton beats Cal tomorrow like they did last year.

I am reposting this from the other day.

Elon up by a point (40-39) on G'town at the half.

I'm really pulling for GTOWN to keep winning and get ranked. They need to pull this one out

I think a lot of people are over rating Georgetown. So far I definitely think St. John's has been better.

That was pathetic but Atkins fouling out had a lot to do with it. But Grant showed a general lack of poise and some of the coaching decisions were not good either.

Agreed on all points. Looked like ND never saw a press before. Guys jumping in the air to throw passes. Nobody coming to the ball to help out. Looked like they were just handing the ball to OSU in a layup drill. Brey may have been in shock :cheer: He waited until after the third turnover before calling timeout, but the avalanche was too far along at that point.

Let me clarify my post. I was pulling for them to win all their games including the Kansas one up to the game against us. If they did that they would've been ranked and we would've had a chance for a top 25 signature road win. Whether I thought they were capable is another story, but I was pulling for them, I wanted them to win out going into our game.

Creighton beat Cal, Seton Hall beat Eastern Washington & DePaul lost to Illinois St. today

I hate to say this about a mans job, but I dont see how DePaul can stick with Oliver Purnell. Unless he turns it around this season, they appear to be making no progress as a program.
