Georgetown’s Paul White is transferring, per school.

Former 4 star F recruit who was out with injury for most of his sophomore year last season.

Wow.. Hoya fans have to be getting restless.

Academic load is toughest in the Big East. Heavy use of tutors and even then it is not enough.

Yeah, no basket weaving, psychology today, courses over there.

Chris Holtmann, Butler snagged a top 100 commitment from Ohio native Kyle Young. That makes 3 pledges in 2017 for the Bulldogs.

Good to hear. I think some of us -- myself included -- were concerned that once Brad Stevens left, Butler would go slide back to being a mid-major also-ran, which, in turn, would weaken the Big East. But it sure looks like they've entrenched themselves as being a solid high-major program ... and that the BE is lucky to have them.

Agree, they have strong tradition & seem to attract solid four year players, resulting in high level play & continuity. They also play transfer game well it appears.

.@XavierMBB coach Chris Mack announced that senior guard Myles Davis has been suspended indefinitely. #Xavier

seems like a big hit for them. pre-season top 10 team with him as a starting senior.

Just another reason why the programs that can be deep throughout their roster have a huge advantage. For ever other good team that goes 5-8 deep everything has to break right (injuries, suspensions, etc) for them to compete for a national title.

With our luck he'll be declared elligible just before our game with them. ;)

Although he wasn't declared ineglible, I get your drift. Seems to always happen that way.

In this case he's suspension stems from alleged physical confrontation(s) with his ex-girlfriend and other off the court issues.

Georgetown has released their nonconference schedule which include Syracuse, UConn, Maryland, and a trip to Maui.

My sense is that Georgetown better have a season in which they over achieve on the court as the fan base is getting very restless with the less than stellar performance as of late.

Tough loss for PC, man they finish second a lot it seems;

UConn commit Makai Ashton-Langford is the No. 8 PG in 2017. Was down to UConn and Providence; visited both in the past week.

And here I thought UConn's program was ready to fold up and die.
