Xavier is a 2 point favorite at Seton Hall today.

Seton Hall is just destroying them. 45-26 at the half.

We'll never know how selling out to Tiny Morton would have worked out here, but it's the only reason Kevin Willard is about to get a contract extension.

I think Carrington, Rodriguez, Delgado, and the addition of Gordan this year are also pretty big reasons. As good as Whitehead is playing they are not a one man team. People want to knock Willard but the growth this year has been way more on the defensive side of the court.

Didn't Carrington come because of Whitehead/Morton? Or, was that someone else?

I think the real "improvement" has come from the fact that the cancer-causing upperclassman from last year, are all gone. Clearly, there was a rift last year, which hurt that team.

Willard has a knack for getting good transfers (e.g Gordon) and finding talented complementary players (e.g. Sanogo)
 
As much as I want the Big East to do well in the tournament, I have to say I am concerned about Seton Hall doing to well and putting players in the NBA before we get rolling. I do think that if they get on a run they can get at least to the sweet sixteen.

Agree completely. Am pulling for every BE team but Seton Hall. Am hoping they loose in first round both of the BE and NCAA tournaments. (And looking back, it makes last week's awful loss all the more painful.)
 
Ill root for the Hall to do well in the tourney. Honestly I think they give the BE the best chance at a surprise run.

Agree and I think there is ample room for both of us to be successful.

Things can change in two weeks, but if the NCAAs were starting now there is no team in the country that would want to face the Hall.

It's probably been 23 years since anyone has feared Seton Hall.
