Great contest w Nova v Xavier. Both teams really get at it on D & share the ball. Xavier up 3 at the half.
Macura is killing it, another guy you hate unless he is on your team. Chippy, but a talented hustler.
Watching Jalen Brunson, MCD AA, struggle lately for Nova gives me pause about having super high expectations for LoVett year one. It takes time.
I like Macura. He is a great shooter.
Xavier will be my pick this year as well. They are the most complete team in the Big East, and even last year they did well in the tournament going to the sweet 16.
I trust Nova more than any other team against weaker, non tournament teams because they're really well disciplined but I don't have much confidence when they play top teams.
Could another early round loss be the push that results in Jay Wright accepting one of those great offers he gets every year?

SH beating up on PC, up 17 with 14 minutes left.
Bentil just ejected. Hard foul on desi R. Probably has to miss the next game.

No because he can sit at Nova forever with early round exits. Those other schools won't tolerate it

Didn't think it was worthy of an ejection and sitting out the next game.
But in any event, what the heck is happening with Providence?
Seton Hall has announced a sellout for Sunday's game against No. 5 Xavier. #hallin

14-1 run by the Hoyas in the last 1:51 to force OT. A loss by Butler may be fatal for their NCAA chances.A wacky ending in DC. Butler was up by 14 or 15 points against the Hoyas under 2 minutes in regulation, but now only up by 2 with 28 seconds remaining. Butler has missed 11 FTs today.
