Also, Paultzman just adding in here my mom is a Georgetown alumni and was there during their height in the 80s. I don't pull for them like I do SJU (to the contrary we have a friendly competition when they play each other) but they're one of my favorite teams and I watch the majority of their games.

I get SJU needs to improve but Georgetown does too. JT3 isn't the answer. You can disagree but I'll express my disappointment in the coach as I did for SJU until there is a change or they live up to expectations.

One observation because I have had the opportunity to watch a lot of early season college bb; the refeering could not be worse IMO, becoming almost as bad as the pros. The amount of late foul calls on lay ups is hard to understand. I guess refs are waiting to see if the bucket is made and then they won't make the call. Also some players look more like running backs than dribblers. Murray for Kentucky, who had a great game shooting, took 3 and a half 4 steps with no call.

If Butler hangs on this would be one of the biggest conference wins to date. Very impressive showing.

Did not disagree re JT3, but I will leave his future to GT decision makers. If you feel better expressing yourself on this, be my guest. At the very least you may want to wait until conclusion of BE play.

Butler folding big time, quick shots kept Purdue in the game, then missed foul shots and letting Purdue take open 3's. Purdue with the ball down 3.

Just venting like everyone here does after we lose. I like Georgetown hence why I vent when they lose. They're not out of it but their resume is possibly worse than St. John's. Horrible RPI, barring a top 3 finish in Big East play I don't see them making it. They'd need to get like 12 conference wins to finish with a top 50 RPI.

On a positive note the Big East picked up today after a dreadful start. SHU pulled out a big win, Butler picked up an even bigger win and Providence took care of business. 4-4 on the day against really tough competition.

If SJU wins tomorrow it'd be a solid weekend. That's a big if though.

Yikes. Thank god for Depaul or we might not win any BE games this year.

Depaul is far from a gimme for this team.
