Around the Big East

Nothing like telling it like it is, Wow.
from SB Nation
CHRIS MULLIN!! is one of only two stories in the Big East that mainstream media has demanded that we always yell about. Unfortunately, it turns out his team is really bad and lost to Fordham. They did beat Syracuse recently, but they aren't challenging anyone in the Big East and they don't have a single player, not one, with an offensive efficiency over 100. That's really bad.

What's SB nation? And I guess offensive efficiency is another dopey metric created by people who never played a game in their life.

Wow. I guess the pundits at SB Nation must think we probably should save everyone the time and effort and just forfeit our remaining schedule and wait for next year. Fortunately I don't think CM and Co. give a rats @ss about what they think. These kids are young and hungry and improving. They're going to lace 'em up and play the games and play 'em hard, and when all is said and done, I'm betting this particular group of young Redmen have another upset or two in them, maybe more, and will send more than just Syracuse home with an L on their schedule.

If we're lucky we will have Lovett and a healthy Ellison. These kids are young and improving. Hopefully we can prove the pundits wrong.

Zach B;

Hearing Seton Hall will have of ton of recruits on hand Saturday for the big Wichita State game. Should have list tomorrow. #hallin #shubb

It is a good thing Naz Reid is going to be there twice. Maybe the etc. is going to be the other guys alter ego. This is one where I am not rooting for the Big East.

There are some huge @BIGEASTMBB games today:
#12 Nova at #8 UVA
Wichita St at Seton Hall
Creighton at #3 Oklahoma
#17 Butler at #9 Purdue

The Big East dropped from 3rd to 5th in KenPom's conference rankings after St. John's loss to Incarnate Word.

I know they are way better than us but watching Nova today, not impressed again. Virginia is tough and the game is away but.....just not impressed. The Hall meanwhile is down double digits.

This is looking to be an ugly day for the Big East. Last couple days equally as bad as last weekend was good.

Nova is unimpressive. Thank God PC, X, and Butler stepped up because Nova may not even deserve to be top 25.

A lot of good games today.

Ingram just took 6 steps with one dribble (including a carry) and Dickie V is singing his praises. Easy to score on a fast break when the refs give you 3 violations to use.

In fairness, Nova has hung tough and looked better, down 6 at the under 4 timeout. Hall is only down a point at the under 8. Good games

Nova to me lacks interior presence & solid rebounding. Good team, but like any has weaknesses.
