@NYPost_Brazille: On potential issues with Seton Hall upperclassmen and freshmen, Kevin Willard said "I'm not going to talk about chemistry issues." #shubb

@NYPost_Brazille: Seton Hall having no player availability. Whoa. #shubb

Guess Lavin made the right choice in not making the Tiny/Whitehead package deal. When Seton Hall lost to Wichita St, Whitehead was continually going one on one and not getting his teammates involved. Once he got hurt, Seton Hall played better as a team and beat us and Nova. Now that Whitehead is back, it does not appear as if he is buying into the team concept and they are losing.
I can't begin to count how many on this board took joy in pointing out that Willard was kicking Lavin's ass in recruiting and had Seton Hall pointed in the right direction. Whitehead is a decent player who was over-hyped due to playing at Lincoln. He is not a one and done type player. Willard compromised his program by making the Tiny/Whitehead deal and now it is blowing up in his face.
Who do you think Whitehead listens to, Tiny or Willard. We all talk about handlers on this board and how they can be detrimental to a program. Imagine a kid's handler sitting on the bench as an Asst. coach !!!!!

@jcalz88: @SOrangeJuice sterling and IW are not getting along sterling has been yelling all game sha having to hold him back.

You could clearly see Gibbs was ticked around the midway point of the second half. It was doing a timeout. I didn't know why he seemed ticked, but you could definitely see it. Once, play resumed, then Gibbs started playing disinterested ball.

Whitehead was playing some wild ball tonight. He committed some awful turnovers in the 2nd half, which allowed Georgetown to regain some confidence and rebuild their lead.

From afar, this has the look of Tommy Amaker's last season at Seton Hall.
"Subtraction by addition" re Whitehead returning & changing chemistry?

Doug Gottlieb certainly thinks so, he tweeted that. Speaking of him he is doing our game tomorrow.

hope the staff locks up their credit cards

we never get lucky like that. Hall will lose next 2 and come in with a team meeting and total suck it up game with Gibbs going 12 for 12 to make Johnnie's life miserable.

They stunk in the previous games without him. Easy to blame the kid. I didn't watch the game but I don't he was the only reason they got blown out. He delusional Hall fans can't wait for him to be gone. I think that fame base is even harder to please than ours.

Isaiah Whitehead removed everything seton hall related from his twitter account last night.

Fred Hill aka "Morrie from Goodfellas" will straighten this whole mess out. :)

So he hates his school, hates his teammates and probably hates his coach?

Will Tiny be his agent and negotiate his D-League contract for him?

Haa, will the posters who blamed Lavin for not taking this package deal please stand up? Still blame Lavin?

Lavins biggest mistake last year was not whitehead, it was not getting McCullough. Give me Chris McCullough and we are still #15 or better

I don't think you can call McCullough a mistake. Lavin went after him and lost.

That might be true. I've heard some other things though

Our staff got outworked. Syracuse was showing up to Brewster to watch him every weekend. SJU didnt have much of a presence down the stretch.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just don't agree with "the world is your oyster" when selling your program to potential additions to a basketball roster, or in selling anything. You concentrate your efforts on what you you need that you think you can win. Then you focus on the winnable situations, and double down at the right time to try and close the deal.

Really? We had Sampson and Sanchez last year, didn't make the tournament, but McCullough would make us ranked #15?
