As I alluded to in an earlier post there was an internal problem at SHU with the amount of playing time Sina got. I believe things started to implode when he remained on the court at crunch time against (if I remember right) Marquette and Whitehead was on the bench. I will say two things though, when teams start losing, competitors will clash, it happens all the time on a lot of teams. There is only one ball and Gibbs and Whitehead both need it to be effective. Myself, I never thought Sina's performance warranted the amount of time he got. However, being fair, I don't like him because second thing, Sina is no choir boy, had some horrible habits I saw myself when coaching against him in AAU which I shared when he signed with Seton Hall. He may have matured but.......................................

@NYPost_Brazille: Multiple sources: No fight in locker room, Jaren Sina and Sterling Gibbs never went into locker room. Yet everyone ripping Whitehead.

@NYPost_Brazille: Clearly, there are a lot of issues going on at Seton Hall. Don't understand why the fan base is blaming a freshman they begged for. #shubb

If Zach can't figure out why, he needs to choose another profession. When a team plays their most cohesive ball with out a player, and then that player comes back and does not want to play within the system, there is a problem. Tiny must be Tweeting for him.

I don't read the boards of any other team, but today I went on the Seton Hall boards. LMAO, what a revelation. I used to actually think that Redmen.com had the only crazy fans. We ain't alone fellas !!!!!

Of all the boards they are the craziest with us and providence not far behind.

I can't even read the friar board lol. I tried when we played them earlier this year but they are the worst band of idiots ever assembled.

I think his point is that they were 3-6 in their previous 9, so this isn't all just IW's fault.

go read UConn.

They are calling for Kevin Ollie 10 months after he brought a title to Storrs.

Oof, what a mess. This can’t be about playing time—Sina was logging close to 30 minutes a game, even when Whitehead was playing. And I personally don’t think Sina even warranted that much time.

A common misconception is that Farrelly Bros movies are made to be low brow comedies.

Overheard on the sidelines was this exchange between assistant coaches:
" Look yo, I didn't come here to watch my man sit on no faulking bench in crunch time yo. I have a contract here that says my man would be the focus of the offense. I am telling him to delete any references to Seton Hall until that kid Sina is off the team"

Tiny's contract is so solid he carries it around with him!

Calling @Andrew2

Lol. I was waiting for that. I think we should take the Marillac approach and wait until April to see what happens. I don't think most on here were expecting that Seton Hall would be ahead in the standings with a win in hand at this point in the season.

Well we have 2 games in hand so the standings thing is ...... to me. We split we're tied.

I just prodded you because you had Kevin Willard on your Mt Rushmore of coaches :)

Interesting tweet from the editor of the Seton Hall newspaper. Sometimes these kids are more plugged in than the major media guys.

Everyone that I have talked to, including Sina, have all said the same thing: Isaiah Whitehead is the root of Seton Hall's problems #shbb

Well Zach Braziller, maybe you shouldn't be using your heart and start doing some work before saying it wasn't Whitehead's fault.

And we all know you read these boards

Paultzman:

You said in the Jordan Status? thread

"I suggest you look at Seton Hall which is in Metro area in a lousy location with a so so campus. They seem to be attracting solid kids recently facing same challenges as SJU. However they are accomplishing that, it would appear it can be done. Like Tiny or not, SH appears to be putting in the work to succeed. Recruits appear to be finding SH to be a good destination. In the long run can they sustain that? I think so, but who knows. It is not about geography, facilities, kids leaving NYC, etc. It is more about leadership and surmounting those shortcomings Imo."

Do you still think St. John's should follow the Seton Hall program building model and recruiting plan?

I said it the day he took Tiny Morton. Willard sold his soul to the devil and will live to regret that decision.

blame the kid but it wasn't him that created the situation. that is the real "root" of the problem.
