Providence College Head Coach Ed Cooley will not coach the Friars' game at DePaul tonight due to a non-Covid related issue.  Asst Coach Jeff Battle, who is in his sixth season at PC, will serve as the head coach.

Mitch Ballock is such an efficient, deadly shooter. Only averages 10-11, but every time I see Creighton play feels like he's scoring 20+.  He had 20 tonight v. Nova (6-8 on 3pt).  Sharpshooter and just a good ball player. Zegarowski had 25, but Ballock is the guy I like watching more. 

Also saw Bryan Antoine got some minutes w/ Nova.  Kid was a sought after 5* recruit and plagued by shoulder injury since end of HS two years ago.

Big East sent out release about postseason tournament that will be held as expected at the Garden. First night will feature three games. Night sessions Thursday and Friday start at 6. Still nothing yet on fans, though expectation is there will be limited amount.

I’m told UConn men wanted to play Villanova at home 2/25, a sure Quad 1 game that would’ve evened home/road sked 9-9. When that didn’t work out, UConn wasn’t interested in other options, such as 10th road game vs opponent not certain to be Quad 1.

Shouldn't be up to them it should be up to the conference  just like it is when they set the schedule before the season. They don't have to come to Queens if they dont want to but they should then have to forfeit.
