Around the Big East

DePaul is so sloppy.  Makes for a tough watch.

DePaul lost so much practice time of covid, you think they should get better.  But UConn's D looks fierce too.

JohnnyFan - (for whatever reason I can't quote directly): lol yeah I hear you. I root against them for other games but I do think it's really importantmt that we get at least 1 big win this year. During the past decade I believe we've gotten at least 1 big win every year. Even during Mullin's first couple years we beat an unranked Syracuse, and back then were coming off years of being 1 seeds. UConn of course has lost a ton of luster, but now that they're ranked it's a huge game and opportunity to turn our season around. Need to go at least 1-1 or preferably 2-0 before then first.

Thx, can't have double standards

2022 prospect Corey Floyd Jr is set to announce on Thursday. He is down to seven programs.

UConn looks the team to beat right now.

Excellent point.   Cluck Uconn

Per Matt Norlander:

Georgetown is going on pause due to COVID-19.

Its expected that the team’s next three scheduled games will be postponed.

To say that this year is different due to COVID is an understatement!

Huge loss potentially. Goodman said he hears 2-4 weeks though.

UConn's James Bouknight is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his left elbow, per release.

That sucks for the kid - he's legit.  Hopefully won't hurt his draft stock (not that I'd be happy to see him move on after this year or anything)

Heck of a  player

Well I read in the Hartford Courant that Huskies Guard and leading  scorer
( 20.3 ppg )
James Bouknight is
OUT INDEFINITELY
as he had elbow surgery for an injury he incurred during the Marquette game in January 5.
don't like to see anyone hurt and hope he recovers fully - but the reality is that our chances in this game should be enhanced.
Bouknight is considered a first round NBA pick. Would be nice the day we gave a player of his talent unless we already have one on our roster!
Julian C !!!

No problem, I'm sure they'll get a buckeye exemption and at least one bye in the BE tourny./media/kunena/emoticons/cool.png
