Around the Big East

Zagoria;
The BIG EAST Conference has announced that the Georgetown at Xavier game, which was scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, has been postponed due to the COVID related issue within the Georgetown program.

Providence milking the clock and it has screwed up their offense. Providence up 4, under 6 minutes to go. CU going to the line.

Whole big East is killing each other.

I thought the league would be down a bit after last year, but that has not been the case.  While I don't believe that the league is as strong at the top as it was last year, it appears to have a deeper collection of quality teams.  Last year, I thought there was a significant dropoff after the top 3.

Our Games that were very winnable , GTown and Xavier  but , weren't . They hurt a lot in this Year's standings . But , winning at UCONN was a nice Surprise .  Need another Surprise Win somewhere .,

College basketball overall is a mess.  The loss of practice time and non-conference games, plus the various pauses and shutdowns, have really hurt a lot of programs.  Even the best-run programs are struggling - Gonzaga being a notable exception.

I think if this were a normal year, Nova, Creighton would have separated themselves as the top 2, with Seton Hall and Xavier a nose ahead of Marquette, Providence and Butler.  Then SJU, DePaul, and Georgetown.

But as it is, we are in an "almost anything can happen" situation because nobody is what they could/should have been if things were normal

Is that the second or third time for them?
