Around the Big East

After watching a good cross-section of conference play, it looks like Villanova, Creighton, Uconn, Xavier and Providence are the top five, leaving the remaining six to play in the Big East Toiurnament Wed. tripleheader. Seton Hall or Marquette have a chance to get into the top five group.

Big East Kenpoms:
3-Villanova
10-Creighton
22-UConn
46-Seton Hall
50-Xavier
54-Marquette
58-Providence
89-Butler
90-St. John's
91-DePaul
110-Georgetown

Purely subjective, but having seen everyone play, this would be my rankings.......

1. Villanova
2. Creighton
3. Seton Hall
4. UConn
5. Xavier
6. Providence
7.  Marquette
8.  DePaul*
9.  Butler
10.  St. John's
11. Georgetown

-If the DePaul roster had any coaching, I would put them at #6

This is the order I foresee as well.

Strong player who had personal problems this year;

DePaul's Jaylen Butz has entered the transfer portal.

I am actually rooting for #25 UConn tonight (against DePaul) so they'll stay ranked for our game next week. Otherwise, we might not have another opportunity to beat a ranked team given we've played Creighton 2X and Nova is even better. Xavier and Seton Hall might eventually make it into the rankings, but I'm thinking 3 in the Top 25 is the right number for this league.

Up 19-13 early on DePaul.

I follow the logic, but I could never root for UConn.

DePaul is so sloppy.  Makes for a tough watch.

How about UCONN without Bouknoght. Seriously.  If it weren't  for a blown late lead to Creighton at home resulting in OT loss they would be unbeaten.

I'd like to just say Fuck You to anyone who convinced me to be fine with them bsck in the conference. I blame all you except myself . I was convinced we would be relevant sooner but I blame you anyway :)

How they brought back Leitao is still a mystery to me.  He must have pictures of someone.

Can't blame me as I didn't want them back (and as for my reasons why as I mentioned previously it has nothing to do with my fear of them basketball wise, but that they still are an FBS school (even with it being due to their bad football program) and a State School.
