Around the Big East

Moser and Oklahoma are 18-8. His wife might miss Chicago but he needs his head check if he leaves there voluntarily.
I hear you Moose but I’ve heard his wife is not the only one not wild about living in Oklahoma.

Even so, Moser has to be careful. His options are slim if the family wants to go back to a big city in the Midwest.

Forget DePaul. Moser carries more cash in his wallet than DePaul’s total NIL pool.

This kills me that 'Nova is still in the hunt as we beat them badly. Splitting against X and PC , while somewhat acceptable, shows we're not yet in the next tier. Losing 2 to Seton Hall is unacceptable, particularly how we lost. If we can somehow split against Creighton and sweep @ Butler, is there still a glimmer of hope going into the BE tournament?

If we can do all of the above (which is doubtful) then I think 2 wins in BET would make it interesting on Selection Sunday.

This is a fun tool to project BE Tournament seedings: https://bball.notnothing.net/bracket.php?conf=bigeastm

If we win out (a big if that I don't think happens at all) and the games go as expected, we could end up the 5th seed in the Big East up against Seton Hall on Thursday. Winner would play UCONN.

could see moser waiting to see if sean miller leaves xavier and try for that job.

Yep, those two wins should definitely secure a spot in the NIT for us
Except for Creighton, St. John's is in their easy part of their schedule.
Let's see if 4 grown ass men in their 20's play up to Pitino's expectations.
Maybe he should hold hands with them and perform reiki on them because, you know how sensitive 22 year olds earning six figures can be.

Two are actually 24, older than three guys on the Knicks

Wins over Georgetown and DePaul are meaningless. Doesn't matter if the team decides to flip a switch at this point. Going to be too little too late

Creighton giving UCONN a good game in first half. Hoping they pull the upset tonight and have a big letdown on Sunday. How’s that for straw grasping?

It makes a big difference in seeding in the Big East tournament.
Tournament wins are their only hope.

To quote John Belushi:

“It ain't over now 'cuz when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

Whose with me? Certainly not MugCostanza, Paultzman and a few other members of this Animal House.
