Around the Big East

Came here to post the exact same thing. Will the national media cover Hurley saying he's going to knock someone out with the same venom they covered Pitino's comments?
Pitino ripping his own kids is a totally different situation then Danny Hurley telling unruly fans to pipe down.

Pitno is the crazy uncle who says too much. Hurley is the family member you’re wondering if he will actually start a physical altercation.

Sooner the better. Hopefully he goes full blown Ron Artest and starts throwing haymakers.

Get that man out of coaching NCAA hoops, because he is a thorn in everyone's side.

UCONN with 19 straight road losses to ranked teams. Hard to believe, for a successful program.

They'll get another chance at Marquette, before the season ends.

Absolute and utter nonsense, God have we become a society of softies. People yelled at him and he yelled back, sticks and stones and all of that…………

I don't care about that. I'd expect that from him. I may do the same.

I still stand by what I said. Him imploding wouldn't be the worst thing for CBB fanbases.

He can do all the yelling and fighting he wants. Again, I encourage it, and hope this is just the beginning.

Wins over Georgetown and DePaul are meaningless. Doesn't matter if the team decides to flip a switch at this point. Going to be too little too late
by that logic, it makes any team's record with wins over them meaningless. other teams' schedules are generally harder than ours down the stretch, so theirs are already inflated with these wins; not ours'. The problem is that even if we do somehow pull out our remaining 5 victories, we are still only 11-9, in a season where we thought 12 wins was being conservative given our pre-season expectations.

I feel stupid even entertaining this. But we would basically have to beat DePaul and Georgetown by 20+, beat Butler @ Butler (who, by the way, is sinking like a rock), and beat Creighton, in order to be on the bubble heading into the tournament.

I am way too easy to be sucked into going to the Creighton and Georgetown games.
