Around the Big East

Got to give Kyle Neptune credit. He was on the way to losing his job but he has turned it around these last few weeks.

This Nova team is dsngerous if they are clicking on all cylinders.

Creighton can beat anyone in the country when they shoot the loghts out. Problem is thats not sustainable and they dont have much else to fall back on.
They are up 21 points with 4 slow, unathletic white guys who can't jump.
However, they pass the ball beautifully and hit their shots.
The game is as simple as that.
You don't see wild drives to the basket and missing bunnies under the basket.

Don't think Creighton and UConn are even playing the same sport we've been playing. Elite shot making, constant motion on offense, all 5 guys playing with defensive intensity, everybody on the floor going after rebounds and loose balls like they are starving dogs and the ball is a piece of meat.

UConn hasn't even been playing that terrible, Creighton just making every shot and swarming on D.

I watched #2 Houston play #6 Iowa st last night and had a similar thought that I was watching a different sport entirely

So do you think the players are following the game plan and execute what was gone over in practices?
Look at the intensity of the Uconn defense! Our guys are matadors who foul instinctively.

Damn you gave up your role of rallying the troops around here for a late season tourney push already huh
What troops? I wouldn't want to go to war with some the fair weather fans here.
I am simply pointing out the difference between players that execute on offense and defend like their sister's virginity was at stake.😉

I would agree....if you were watching women's basketball.
The difference is players playing hard, passing the ball and hitting half their shots.
Do you think Pitino practices fouling the other team to the tune of 37 free throws which cost St. John's the game against Seton Hall?
