With 2:22 remaining, Xavier leads Toledo 66-65
Toledo may likely be without one of their better players down the stretch as he took a shot to the forehead.

Per Xavier Hoops

Due to COVID-19 issues tied to FS1’s production crew, today’s game will not be televised on FS1. Xavier is planning on going live with a stream broadcast on GoXavier.com to replace the FS1 coverage.
I've officially seen it all
I'm imagining a member of th Xavier staff streaming the game via their cell phone lol

Xavier up 72-67 and Toledo calls another timeout with 20 seconds

X winning tight games this week

I believe it was you who said it the other day, Aiken is very injury prone and the Hall need him if they are going to have a good season.

Bryce Aiken's status: out for the remainder of the game with a right ankle sprain

Horrible call at end of SH / Louisville almost gave SH a chance to tie, but a missed 3rd free throw by SH results in a Louisville win. Great effort by SH. Not sure how we're going to be able to guard Mamu.....

Im watching Uconn. It looks like they are playing a different game then we are.

We have a lot of work to do if we want to compete w/ these guys in 2 weeks.

Yeah, Sanogo is better than I thought and they have a ton of size. We don’t match their size and their guards/forwards also really good. Their defense looked aggressive as well. We gotta improve fast. Still not sure we can handle their size with what we’ve got. Moore was never a center nor a major defensive interior player. He’s a wing, stretch 4 at most.

I will eat a bit of crow for coming down on us so hard after St. Peters. Looks like many major teams are having trouble with much worse teams early. UConn, Xavier, PC at times, UVA, UCLA, Pitt, Georgia Tech, etc. Seems like COVID has kept teams from getting chemistry to a degree.

But so far I was right about Seton Hall...I said Aiken was injury prone and that he won't be Powell for them. He did not play well before going out with injury. They hung with Louisville, but lost. I just don't see them being 3rd or 4th. They may fall to 6th or 7th.

The major take away is that one or two games does not make you or anyone else right or wrong.

Sources: Seton Hall and St. Joe's are attempting to finalize an agreement to play Monday at Mohegan Sun.

Zach re Seton Hall/Iona match up

“Heard this is close to happening from a source. They're looking for a network to carry game. Two teams had talked about playing at some point even before St. Joes game fell apart.”
