Makes the plight of this program even more frustrating. Seton Hall must recruit against SJU and Rutgers with poorer facilities, but manages to get results.

If you think Seton Hall has inferior facilities to SJU and Rutgers then you are woefully misinformed.
Playing home games at the Prudential Center in the middle of Newark isn’t exactly a popular destination. But if they have better campus facilities than SJU and Rutgers, then you are right and I am misinformed. Haven’t been to Seton Hall in a long time.

I think in terms of facilities quality it would go Rutgers, Hall, SJU (I erroneously implied that Rutgers is inferior to the Hall and that isn't the case at all)

3 BE teams made this week’s AP Top 25 poll: Providence (9), Villanova (11), UConn (18)

Nova is 9.5 point favorite at home v Providence which seems high.

Must say Wright has done an excellent job this year essentially going with seven guys including a mediocre Arcidiacano. I know Nova gets benefit of doubt from refs regarding fouls, but it is amazing how disciplined they are at not reaching or committing unnecessary fouls. That helps compensate for short roster obviously. I think Nova won’t go far in NCAA T and will be exposed by teams with good inside play, but kudos to Wright for a solid job once again.

I never thought I'd say this:

I am jealous of Providence.

There I said it and it hurt.

I've gotten over being jealous of Villanova since their three NCs and two very recent ones, they flew passed us a long time ago. Plus, I like Wright, but don't like Cooley, just envy his success at a much smaller school, in a much smaller city, but they have been so much better than us in the last decade.

Seton Hall too. We've sorta become the DePaul of the BE.

Unfortunately we are the St. John’s of the BE.  Perennial bottom dwellers.  Welcome back to the play in game for the BE tournament with little hope for the future.

Man Bun no more!  Horchler with the new ‘do.

He's going for the aerodynamic profile so he get up the court quicker on the fast break.  Wait a minute, he plays for Providence............

You know what happened to Samson.  /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

As impressive as Providence run has been, would it shock anyone if they were to lose first game of BE tourney and first game of ncaa tourney? They’ve greatly overachieved and I’m terribly envious, but I wonder how their fans would look back at this season if it were to end with 3 straight losses. Seasons can change like that and you’re really only as good as your latest win.

Prov and Nova performed so well down the stretch ,taking good shots, making foul shots, playing hard defense that if SJU was one of the teams involved they would have gone from being tied with three and one half min to go to losing by ten.

Plenty of high level shot making those last 3 minutes.

Georgetown is apparently going to stay the course with Ewing.

I cannot even imagine what this board would be like under similar circumstances....

Yup sounds like Patrick is coming back.

The thing fans who want Ewing gone were hanging their hat on was the fact that Georgetown had not come out with a statement of support for Patrick leaving open the possibility they could try to push him out.

But sounds like they want to give him 1 more year.

As long as the team that showed up in Chicago on Sunday does not show up in the BE tournament, we can be a dangerous team.

Depaul is the team no one wants to see in the BET this year.  And of course we will be playing them in round 1.  DOH!
Just last week we were the team no one wanted to play. /media/kunena/emoticons/devil.png
