Around the Big East

Watching Villanova take apart Butler at Hinkle. Even though Butler won two close games against DePaul. (David Jones missed one), DePaul is the tougher matchup for us and the better team. Nova is such a disciplined team that if we get past DePaul I can't see us beating them. If we want the NIT we have to win today.

Seton Hall on road, despite losing Kadary for game, leads Creighton by one at the half. Down two point guards, Willard still manages to hang in there.

UCONN won by 7 but DePaul made a late run. DePaul 6-14 from the line. Should be a good one Wednesday.

OFFICIAL: St. John's will face DePaul in the opening round of the Big East Tournament Wednesday at 7 p.m. Winner gets Villanova the following night. #sjubb

I heard Freeman-Liberty was spotted practicing uncontested drives to the basket after today's game.  Not sure why.

Kidding aside.....not a good draw for us.

The Vincentian Super Bowl

We won the last one in the BET in 2019 so lets get another one.

If we can't beat Depaul in MSG, no way we can call this season anything but a big fail. No excuses.

If we win the next two we can hold our heads somewhat high after the season as we would have concluded on somewhat of a higher note and look forward to continued progress next season.
if we lose the next two the season will have been one huge disappointment with no other way to describe it.
Looking forward to us playing on Thursday night.
