Around the Big East

Duke, you actually have it backwards.  Stubblefield was a good recruiter at Oregon, there wasn't much doubt that he'd be able to get some players for DePaul.  The unknown is whether he can coach, and so far that's still an unknown other than that he is presumably better than Dave Leitao ... but that isn't saying a heck of a lot.

Hurley is a nut but certainly didn’t deserve to be ejected for that. Huge game in the first half and you send the coach home early? Get over yourself Breeding.

As a Yankees fan, the 1986 World Series was a case of "who the hell do I root for in this train wreck?"

Breeding v Hurley is kinda like that.

I have never seen a coach high 5 a player, then turn around and pump up his own home crowd and get tossed for that.

That ref should be suspended indefinately.

Funny about your example.

I was at Fenway a few years ago, and the relatively new custom is that ushers, ticket takers, and security greet fans, wish them safe home and a good night.

Entering Fenway, the ticket taker greeted us, said have a great time, then asked where we were from.

I told him you won't be so friendly when I tell you I'm from New York, especially since I'm a mets fan. 1986 always comes to mind for Mets fans.

The guy smiled and said, "No. We love Mets fans!"

It took me a little while to figure out the common ground was that Red Sox and Mets fans hate the Yankees.

This is a big game as if Nova loses tonight, they will probably get the 2 seed in the BET.  Meaning we would see them Thursday night in the quarters.

Would much rather have Nova win the BE and see Providence in the quarters.

I thought Cole was moving.  And I didn’t think the refs were allowed to call fouls on Gillespie with under a minute left in the game.

Uconn fans storm the court?  Nova is a 7 loss basketball team.  I mean, should we storm tomorrow night if we win?
I get called old every time I comment of something like this, so I'll sit this one out /media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png

I get it if you knock off the #1 seed in the country with a big upset.  Uconn was favored tonight.  Nova is not even in 1st place in the conference.

Johnny fans....storm the court if we beat creighton tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess they were really fired up after Hurley’s ejection

Xavier and Providence about to go to triple overtime, frankly, because neither one of these teams know how to lose.

Unfortunately, that is something we have excelled at.

Looks like Xavier and The Johnnies will be battling it out for most disappointing season after a pre season of high conference expectations.
