Ewing does not sound like he wants to move on.

Liberty had a great look for the final shot of the game. He just missed it.SLYFOXX1968 post=459137 said:DePaul could have done us a big favor last Night if they beat SH at home . They had the game in their hands on the last 2 possessions and didn’t call any timeouts . Freeman- Liberty had a good game with 20 second half points . But , put up 2 awful shots on those last possessions . It cost them . Of course , they will now play lights out against us next time on their Court . Beware the Demons .
Oof, that's rough. Even with a contract extension it's going to be really hard to justify retaining Ewing if he goes winless in conference play in his 5th year. He hasn't had a winning conference record in 5 years, best he's done is 9-9. If Ewing just wins 4-5 games in conference this year he would have been fine and got at least another year based on his BE tournament run last year.Paultzman post=459182 said:Per fanduel.com
Georgetown lrewarded Patrick Ewing with a contract extension following last season's run to the Big East Tournament title and the NCAA Tournament, multiple sources told FanDuel.
Exact terms of the extension and how much of it is guaranteed is still unknown.
Just shows how good conference is this year. Any team 1-10 has the ability to beat each other on any given night. DePaul almost beat Seton Hall on the road last night. Georgetown is the only team you can circle down as a win, and even them, they will give you a little scare.Paultzman post=459184 said:Butler over PC at half 32-15 w two minutes to go in half

If this game impacts our position in the standings, we have bigger problems to worry about
