Around the Big East 19/20

We dropped 2 spots in the NET, from #67 to #69 due to Vermont and ASU losing. Obviously still a great outcome overall yesterday, especially with our 2 Big East mates winning. Georgetown moved up to Q1 territory (#30) and 6 Big East teams are in the top 50.

Guess who beat Vermont? The last team to beat Georgetown in UNC-Greensboro.

The loss to Vermont has not aged well. They've disappointed in the non-league, and their rankings will go down simply due to the fact that they will be playing weak America East teams. They've also had injuries, and since they're really only playing for the America East Tournament title now, I could see them resting guys during the regular season. Too bad.

Think they were the first team left out of the Tournament last year. They seem legit.

With NET their ranking could improve playing weak teams, with the RPI it was the opposite. I agree that I wish they were doing better, but I'm not too concerned.

Maryland with 10 points and the half almost over. It’s not because the Halll is doing much special. Who do I have to pray to to get Arizona to have a similar game?

For some reason he don’t see this being sustainable. Maryland gonna make a run sooner or later.

Hall needs to hang on here. Ugly or not this would be a great win for the Conference

Hall will need to show poise, value the ball and hit free throws. All things they have struggled with this year.
