Yes it was, unfortunately Syracuse came out on the winning end 112-110
Wow ain’t karma a bitch. I would think his seat is on fire at present, never mind being warm.Paultzman post=444789 said:Bobby Hurley’s seat getting hotter by the day.

They scored 10 points in the first half! Wow! This has to be approaching some record for futility. Embarrassing either way. I know many wanted him here, and we cant assume it would have worked out the same, but looks like a bullet may have been dodged.
Thought this was a typo or maybe my cataract, but 29 points? Sorry I didn't get to see that one. Think Bobby's next job might be with the Washington Generals -- although even they shoot better than 21 percent.Paultzman post=444789 said:Bobby Hurley’s seat getting hotter by the day.

If you recall, Boeheim hated the idea of leaving the Big East. The rivalries were so so intense and brought so much regional interest. Uconn was in no man's land before returning to the Big East. Of course, they coveted the Big Ten nod that Rutgers got and would have jumped if the ACC called. It's hard not to jump at the money. If you remember, Villanova was all set to upgrade their football stadium capacity and program when the Big East dissolved. I guess the sports gods rewarded that effort with two national championships.Room112 post=444670 said:PSK938 post=444658 said:Indiana a 2.5 point favorite over Syracuse tonight. Would love to see a big Hoosier win especially since it will help us the more wins they get plus of course its Syracuse and they can lose every game as far as I am concerned.
It's funny, I have a friend who went to Syracuse, and he was just complaining that Syracuse is turning into BC in terms of relevance in sports since joining the ACC.
