Pitt beat Colgate 71-68
Pitt has actually played really well their last 3 games, they are slowing starting to figure things out, they had heart breaking 1 point losses to Minnesota and Virginia.

I hope guys don't pay attention to their record in the game next week.  They are capable of winning and will be fired up to play in MSG.

Minnesota and virginia are not very good this year.  Losing to either of them is not an accomplishment.

Minnesota is 7-1, 2 high major wins, and 57 NET.
Virginia 6-4, 3 high major wins (has a win over Providence), and 93 NET

Both currently higher than St. John's.  If Pitt can keep up with these 2 teams then they can keep up with Johnnies.

UCLA @ Marquette originally scheduled for 2:30 today on Fox has been pushed back 7 hours due to issues with UCLA's plane. The game will be shown tonight @ 9:30 on FS2.

Xavier vs Cincinnati at 8:30 tonight. Should be a real battle!

This type of cross town rival game, along with the Philly Big 5, and others are reasons why St. John's should not be avoiding an Iona or Hofstra etc.

Big East wiping the floor with people… will serve us well if we win the rest ooc and perform well in conference: a big IF.

I agree, play Hofstra, Iona, Colombia, Manhattan, Stoney Brook, LIU, Fordham, St.Francis etc. I know we played a couple of those teams but we should play them every year. if you want lower lever games play local teams and at least draw some interest.

Alabama-Houston had a rock fight of a game. Houston tough physical defensive and rebounding team.

Bama - Freemantle has been back for Xavier for 4 games.  Minutes increasing and played 23 min  v..Cincinnati yesterday.
