I know it would damn near be a miraculous feat, but root for BYU tonight versus Gonzaga.

If the Cougars somehow win, it'll likely immensely help our resumé.

Capel did steer Cragg towards Anderson for coach.
That's why in my post I asked for a mutuially parting rather than Pitt firing him. I used to really hate Capel, but his recomendation has really lessened my dislike for him.

Darn.....Zags just drove in the final daggar.
I'd like to see an undefeated champ (unless we get in). I was too young to notice the last time it happened.

Interestingly Moses Wright, ACC POY was an unranked, zero-star recruit.
The only high-major to offer was Georgia Tech (UNC-Charlotte also offered, along with Catawba), which, of course, where he ended up.  He received a look and interest from Kansas State and Wake Forest.

I've seen Georgia Tech a couple times this season and Wright is a unique player as he'll post up one possession, take you off the bounce the next, and then shoot a trey on the following possession.

I didn't see the Duke game, but noticed Igiehon posted no stats. Not sure if he played or is injured, but he's only appeared in five games so far.

he missed a chunk of the season with injuries

Iowa State ended their season last night in Big 12 tourney.  2-22 overall and 0-18 in Big 12.   Don't see how HC Prohm survives that.

My heart breaks :)

@GoodmanHoops report: Duke is out of the ACC tournament after a positive COVID-19 test

Saved them the embarassment of possibly getting in and losing in the first round.

I am hopeful that the committee will pass oln a lot of these marginal big boys who resally dn;t deserve it and put in a few more of the good mid-major confernce teams.

Although, I'm not a fan of Duke, this does suck.  Never know if they could've made a run for the conference championship title.
