Hofstra not dancing, lose in CAA semis
they are like the burger king breakfast menu always runner up
It's a bummer that they rarely seem to get over the hump.
IMO they never should have left the American East

Hofstra actually won CAA championship last year, just before Covid stopped everything.
That's basically like getting a whopper with cheese but not being able to eat the french fries or drink the coke :)

Wouldnt be shocked if Hofstra is in the market for a HC this year.

If Hofstra is looking fr a Coach, I think Speedy Claxton will get the job. He has done a very good job with recruiting and player development since he has been at Hofstra.

He has the Hofstra DNA.  Hope their experience is different than ours was with Mullin.

Do you know why he wasn't named the acting HC when their HC went on medical leave this year?

Justin Champagnie with a tough game to end his season. Pitt lost to Miami in first round of ACC, Justin 5-20 from the field for 11 points, did have 10 rebounds.

If Justin is dispirited about the Pitts men's basketball program than the transfewr door is open at the University of St. John's.

Now we just need Pitt and Capel to mutually part ways, and have that be the final push Champagnie needs to come home for a year./media/kunena/emoticons/cool.png

On the ACC Network after the game they said that another issue with Capel is that he has no recruits signed yet for next season after losing 3 of his best players to transfers over the past two seasons. They said Pitt has to make a decision with regard to the direction of their program.

If we keep our current crop in tact AND add Justin Champagnie, then it's light's out for the Big East next season.

There, I said it.

One can keep dreaming can't we, however stranger things have happened. Capel may very well be let go and Justin would be going from a program that is falling apart to one on the rise. Ok  let all the rumours and transfer talk start.

It would simply be too good to be true.

I know it would damn near be a miraculous feat, but root for BYU tonight versus Gonzaga.

If the Cougars somehow win, it'll likely immensely help our resumé.
