Rutgers being helped by overall strength of B10 best conference along with B12.

The win over Illinois and the non-conference win over Syracuse is getting them in.  SJU win over Nova not quite as good as Illinois and SJU with no good non conference wins.  That is basically difference.
I don't get this NET rating system. In an RPI world they are no where near an NCAA team.

Wrt Sean Miller-Contractually they will almost have to make a decision on him. He only has 1 yr left so no way they let him be a lame duck. I can't see him getting an extension so that leaves only 1 option. Could see both Miller brothers unemployed.

It's not like they wouldn't have 100 guys vying for that job. Miller attracts great talent, but how much of that is the school? Any big name in there would likely have similar results.

Wrt Rutgers vs SJU.

If SJU had beaten BYU now it is a totally different conversation.

Agreed Fordham, Posh was early in his Freshman year and hadn't hit his stride yet and Dunn was injured that game and didn't play if I remember correctly. If we had Dunn I think we win that game just because of his on ball defense.

Are you implying that when Pitino said he was going to finish his career at Iona, that possibly he wasn't being completely honest?

I think right after he said that he whispered ". . . unless a pandemic keeps me from being able to play a full season, in which case I'll go to a school that is better equiped financially to keep the kids isolated and COVID-free."

Anybody hear what's  new with Nyiwe.has anyone actual seen him play.guessing he is at best 6-9
We won't see him until next season.

Maryland drops a game to Penn state. Similar profile to Rutgers. Knocked of some good teams early, feasted on low level B10 teams. Hasn't beat an NCAA team in quite a while.

Heard scholarships allow for the taking of no show classes. /media/kunena/emoticons/blink.png

Source: NCAA is moving forward with one-time transfers. D1 Council will vote on a waiver to allow one-time transfers for the upcoming year (2021-22) at their April meeting after the Final Four.

Interestingly Moses Wright, ACC POY was an unranked, zero-star recruit.
