Time to put respect on New Mexico’s name as well as our win against them.

At least before the game, DeCourcy had New Mexico AND Utah State IN the Tournament. NM was 10 seed and Utah ST was listed as a 5 (!?). The 5 seed is higher than SJU which is a 6 seed. Go figure. Mountain West love is still a thing. Of course he’s going to change that after the Lobos thumped Utah St on the ROAD.

Would love to see us play two OOC games against teams like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, N Carolina, UCLA one on road one at MSG. With Pitino here and our resurgence may be doable.

Duke is head and shoulders above the rest of the ACC and almost everyone else outside of the top of the SEC and maybe a Big 12 team or 2.

UNC is in the third tier in the league with Wake, Pitt and Pitt. Louisville and maybe Clemson are perhaps a bit better. But it's a looooong way from Duke to the Tier 3 teams and below.

Carmine watches that league more than I do so he may have a more informed view but that's what I see from keeping an eye on Duke,.Pitt and Wake for various reasons

No, you got it. Puke is the best and as the world knows the best home court advantage anywhere. Louisville looks good. I didnt see the Clemsen game. Pitt missed a good opportunity to move up losing a Heartbreakers at Wake. That English kid went off.

Amari Williams is playing better and is more productive at Kentucky in the best conference in the country than he was last year at Delaware in a low major conference. Imagine us with him instead of Vince as we supposedly were in on him.

Funny I screwed that up because I saw him play in person against Hofstra. I’ll blame it on old age. He was much heavier at Drexel and didn’t move around or jump nearly the way he does this year.
