Barely lol, I nearly jinxed themKState won!
I think the biggest difference is that we don’t have a shooting guard that can shoot. We live and die by getting multiple possessions.I forget who said it, but someone said the only real difference between us and Tennessee is they have Chaz Lanier and we don't. Hate to say it, but that's the separator between that Tier 1 (Duke, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Houston) and Tier 2/3 in college basketball.
That's Lanier. He's averaging 42% from 3pt this year. Averaged 44% last year.I think the biggest difference is that we don’t have a shooting guard that can shoot. We live and die by getting multiple possessions.
Per Trilly (paraphrasing from his posts) - Indiana will be moving on from Woodson. Nothing firm on the timeline for an official announcement.
Goodman says they make a run at Pitino. I don’t think Rick is leaving here. For a number of reasons.Woodson stepping away after season from Indiana.
Agree, Indiana is in the middle of nowhere. Rick loves the.city lights and his home by his country club. He’s not going anywhere.Goodman says they make a run at Pitino. I don’t think Rick is leaving here. For a number of reasons.
He probably has a max of 5-7 years left coaching, so I doubt he wants to do another 2-3 year rebuild in the middle of nowhere. Their NIL situation can’t be THAT much better than what he has here either.Goodman says they make a run at Pitino. I don’t think Rick is leaving here. For a number of reasons.
Hs also just seems to be having a lot of fun. That does matter in these things. He probably has a max of 5-7 years left coaching, so I doubt he wants to do another 2-3 year rebuild in the middle of nowhere. Their NIL situation can’t be THAT much better than what he has here either.
I’d also like to think that he has a sense of loyalty to St. John’s and Father Shanley for taking a chance on him, a love for his hometown of NYC, and is enjoying the big time atmosphere of a rocking MSG.
Goodman is really a troll at this point w diminished influence and credibility. If he could, Goodman would say Incarnate Word would make a serious run at Pitino and have a chance. I muted Goodman long ago and haven’t regretted it for one second

My guess would be Chris Beard. Indiana is a potential force in college hoops and Beard has the coaching chops to get them there in a much more visible program he’s at now.![]()
Who could be Indiana's next basketball coach? Likely (and unlikely) candidates
Could Brad Stevens take the reins in Bloomington with Mike Woodson expected to leave the Hoosiers after this season?www.espn.com
Extremely predictable, and don't blame the coaches or players. This had to have a cash prize to make this even slightly interesting to participate in.
