Around College Basketball

Looked like a knee the way they were helping him off. I imagine if there's any structural damage to a star's knee this will be what results in a banning of storming.
At this point, it should be banned. There is nothing special about it anymore. 5 teams stormed the court this week.

Duke is not even a top 5 team. What is wake doing storming the court?

Creighton is the 15th ranked team in the country. Act like it. What the heck are they doing storming the court?

What is stoping Uconn fans from storming the court tonight? Why cant they celebrate a nice Saturday night win on the court w/ their team.

Uconn fans should 100% storm the court tonight. Dont even think twice about it.

I don't know this Clayton guy from Adam but I'm sure he's quite good as I've read in a thousand posts on here...but he’s certainly no Daniss Jenkins. Their shooting and rebounding numbers are almost exactly identical. However, Daniss is killing him in assists and assists/turnover ratio where his numbers are twice as good as Clayton.
I wish we had both of them, as did Pitino. I don't think this was ever choosing between them.

According to The Athletic, the Mid-American Conference is adding UMass as a full member in all sports including football in the 2025-26 academic year. UMass, a founding member of the A10, was previously in the MAC as a football-only member from 2012 to 2015. The school left and has been playing as an independent in football (like UConn) because the MAC refused to include the rest of UMass’ sports. The A10 had sponsored football at the FCS level (Nova was a member for football) until disbanding the football league when the teams left and helped formed the Colonial Athletic Association’s (”CAA”) football league (Nova is a member their football program). In 2011, UMass elevated their football program to FBS and left the CAA.

Strangely enough, I don't hate the UMass move as far as the viewing public goes. There's some good hoops in the MAC.

It is traditionally a one-bid league though.

What a finish to Nevada at Colorado St. Nevada up by about 8 points with minute and a half left. C St last two times fouls guy on Nevada named Lucas who is a 92% FT shooter and he proceeds to miss 3 of 4 FTs. Col St hits a shot with 2.3 seconds left to tie and Nevada inbounds to Lucas who takes two dribbles along side line and launches from mid court and banks in game winner. Proceeds to run around perimeter of the court with his teammates taunting the home crowd.

Not only is it a wild west in regards to the portal and NIL but looks like any type of eligibility rules can't be enforced. Want to play 8 years, go ahead. Want to transfer mid season and play immediately? Nothing stopping you.

Wonder if Joel wants to play another season or two in college

And God helps us if Congress is expected to make sense of this mess like NCAA suggests. 🫣
