Around College Basketball

It is the nature of the mega conference beast. But, as long as SJU is a top 25 program and continues to increase its presence at the Garden, they will be able to compensate and assemble a strong out of conference schedule.

Nice start by scheduling a top SEC team, AL, as a way to build a relationship with that conference for future games.
 
MAAC has really gone downhill imo; stubbornly playing conference tourney at Atlantic City in front of ten fans, refusing to go w the tourney at campus sites like Patriot league does to at least add some excitement to equation and erosion of TV coverage for the event.

Sooner they realize having the conference tourney in Albany is not just an advantage for Siena but for the league as a whole the sooner they can get going again.

Fairfield U probably not happy with this 😂. Should’ve rehired my buddy Tim O’Toole. The MAAC should either play in Albany or at Mohegan Sun.
