Talk about the value of home court advantage. Michigan beat Maryland by 36 points at Michigan. They are playing tonight at Maryland (on ESPN) and Maryland is a 3 point favorite!

Interesting to me all the media reporting on it says he’s retiring but the ND official statement says he’s “stepping away” and there is no mention of retirement anywhere
I think he jumps at the chance to interview for the Georgetown job. There'd definitely be conversations with Cragg if things end on a sour note this season.

Maryland covered the spread.

I hope so to the first part, not so much the second part. I think Brey would be a high floor, low ceiling type of guy at either of those places. I’ve been thinking Brey to Georgetown made sense given his past successes at a similarly highly academic Catholic school. Maybe he still wants to coach or maybe he’s sick of the NIL and free agency aspects of CBB like a bunch of the older guys

I think he just knows that everything has a shelf life and wanted to leave before things got too stale. Georgetown is two hours and change from the beach he wants to eventually retire to, so I think he would do five or six more years at Georgetown given the chance if the coaching bug isn't completely NIL'ed out of his system. I do think he'll be super selective: Northeast/Mid-Atlantic or nothing.

Marquis Nowell the 5’8” PG from Kansas State made second team All-American in the Sporting New’s mid season All-American teams.
I think he's player of the year. I'm sure they'll give it to Frankenstein from Purdue or Oscar on the strength of his monster game, but I think the little guy is the real MVP.

Haven't read this thread in a bit... so not sure if it has been mentioned... but do you guys know that Rutgers is playing Michigan St @MSG on 4-Feb... this isn't an OOC showcase.... this is a Rutgers Home game at the Garden....

has any non-SJU tri-state area team ever played an Official home game at MSG?
