That's big. Cal is down 12 at the half @ 7-2 Fresno St.

Looking over Tariq Owens numbers so far. Almost Identical to what he did for St. John's. Actually averaged more shots and rebounds last year. #sjubb

His father did not like that quote. Took a shot at us with him saying he’s undefeated on a top 25 team.

He is doing virtually the same as Zach B. mentioned but in less minutes. I doubt his numbers would increase that much with the same minutes he got here but good for him.

In the words of the immortal poet and sometime basketball player Derek Coleman:

“Well Whoop-de-damn-do.”

Polls at this time of the season mean squat. Let all of the teams start playing games for real and then I’ll pay attention.

Dukie V has mentioned St.John’s more times this first half than he has in the last 20 years

For all you “Dookie V” haters... Watching Puke-TT. Said Owens needs to have a big game, like last year with St John’s. Gave a shout out to Coach and Slick, said we’re undefeated (but haven’t played a lot of names), and that we need to continue it in the Big East. He may be the ultimate in-game front-runner, going nuts for whoever has the momentum, but he’s always said nice things about St. John’s.

I've heard him shout out St. John's almost every time I hear him broadcasting. Tremendous respect for Louie and our History.

Got home with about 16 minutes left in second half. Helluva game, looks like. Texas Tech is not overrated - very good team.

Good team Texas tech. Owens did fine as a transfer, but didn’t improve his position as far as minutes and role goes, only made ours a little more difficult without bigs. That said, I’d like to see them lose to Dook selfishly. I wanna hit Duke with what we have, hopefully with a healthy Keita. Give our boys a chance to play them with our offensive ability. Win or not it doesn’t matter really. It’d be an amazing win or a good loss either way... no lose situation.

Jarrett Culver is the best player on the floor tonight, far and away.

Zion takes the word “elevation” to a new level.

In other Lone Star hoops news, Houston down 10 at the half.

Watching this game has made me feel way better about our chances this season. Texas Tech and their “offense” looks more schoolyard than us. Texas Tech does not scare me whatsoever, and if they won this, they’d be like the #1 team.

Duke is gonna win games off of their athleticism and stars alone. But it’s not like they are all that well coached either. Sorry rat face

Missed bunnies and bad ball handling are killing TT.

Zion relegated to the pine for the duration on a charge - something poetic about that...

It would only be a good loss if the score is reasonably close!

Texas Tech has two Flaws

1) No ball handling point guard ( Tre Jones absolutely abused their P.G).
2) Their only offense is Culver and that’s it.
