2nd DePaul Game

Damn, I really like this team. Too bad there was not some more height & depth so they could close out the year on a positive note for the seniors and the Redmen faithful.

As noted by many, Keith Thomas loss was tough.

Any chance of getting him for next year? Or is he out of the equation?

I suspect not. To my knowledge he didn't continue schooling & is MIA.

Dom would not have been given the opportunity he has and probably would be coming off the bench.

And someone get those 3 dicks doing their sideline routine on the depaul bench and give them shovels and let them dig their way back to chicago

Were you talking about the refs? ;)

I think he was talking about 3 DePaul reserves who never got on the Court doing some "digging" on the sidelines after a DePaul 3

Is Lavin drunk? That halftime interview was awful

What coach even wants to give a half time interview. I think it is totally ridiculous. Coaches are thinking about what to say to their team and then they have to answer stupid questions, total BS !!!!!

I think it's contractual, part of the network deal with the conference. Purnell did same.

It's bad enough to be white and at the end of a college bench with no hopes of playing. But to act like buffoons and nerds is humiliating. This isn't comedy - these are three guys getting a free ride and essentially so far removed from seeing court that they are acting like the three stooges.

Having been there, I think it was the worst officiating I have ever witnessed. All the fans around me were in agreement. The NCAA should be taking this crew to the woodshed, and then send them back to CYO.

The NCAA should end the charade of student athletes, and offer any student the opportunity to get remedial education at the level he is capable of while allowing them to compete in athletics. All this nonsense about grade inflation and worthless course selection could fade away.

I don't mind that, those kids are probably having the time of their lives doing it and I'm sure DePaul doesn't mind it. No need to talk about it for five minutes during the broadcast though.

Agree. Watching them last night, especially the one who T'eed p Harrison, got me to thinking if they are evaluated and assessed. I'm sure they are, but how is not clear to me. Those guys last night need to have a warning put in their personnel files!

How do you know they are not walkons? Let them have some fun. They go to practice everyday and work hard everyday just to sit on the bench during the games. So what if they have a little fun?

Well, that's one opinion, but from my perspective it invalidates them as serious athletes. Could you imagine, with a 5-6 team, what would be written about Lavin on here if he tolerated buffonery at the end of the bench? I see your point though. Thanks!

I thought it was idiotic and distracting but that is just me. Personally when I found myself on the bench for the first time in my life in college I resorted to pouting, so to each their own.

Was D'Lo's breakaway dunk last night the first slam of his career?

I can't remember him ever dunking in a game.
