We are going to need to work some BIG time magic in the Portal to match that schedule

I expect two portal bigs and a guard.

And I expect Drissa to be here if he wants to stay. May be through NIL paying his tuition as a walk on, but I do not believe staff will actively try to run him off.

You heard Pitino last night. We can’t afford to use the scholarship on that level of player at the expense of losing someone who can contribute in the front court at this level. We’ve already got a raw true freshman and a raw rising junior in Zuby.

He won’t be playing next year. Whether that means wasting NIL money or him graduating and playing at a more appropriate level, it has the same effect.

He is a smart kid, so if he's been spending summers on campus with the intent of graduating in three seasons, I would say that is the best outcome for everyone involved.
