Just give it time in a few months no one will bring up the guys who left. This Board would fight over whether the sky is blue or not...
Someone is going to bring up the color at sunset after reading this post.

Well it isn't technically blue. It is how the sun refracts through the atmosphere and filters out most of the colors except for blue and some red and yellow and makes it appear blue but the sky is the color of space and the stars and sun's illuminating rays. This Board would fight over whether the sky is blue or not...

Cmon don’t want see first 1-1 zone?We won't have a two-man roster either.

Posh or Wusu wouldn’t want to take 20 mpgI’d take Posh or Wusu at 20 mpg vs a cheerleader.
Poor guys user name is already datedPosh or Wusu wouldn’t want to take 20 mpg
They may have been a shit show but they were our shit show! This is not directed at anyone here, or anyone at all. It’s a collective comment about the relationship between last year’s group of players and the City of New York - population over 9 million, that’s million. And 3 million more in Nassau and Suffolk, which is attached to Queens.
Of those 12 million most nights at Carnesecca barely 3,000 of them thought spending a dime to come out and watch this group play was a worthy investment of their time and money. And if you watched them play together it was understandable. They were bad, and setting defensive “records” that fly in the face of a team working hard or expending a lot of effort. They also carried on a lot and showed zero respect to their coach during timeouts. They were in a word, unlikeable.
I’m not an insider and I don’t know who were and were not problems. But all evidence I saw was a completely dysfunctional team, and now SJU has filed a lawsuit basically stating such as well.
I am very ready to move on.
I mean if babes play a role in it Pitino is your guy !Agree. I know nothing and always a chance FL's weather and babes play a role, but I'd be very surprised if Clayton Jr.'s not a Johnny next year.
Just don’t change it to Soriano. At least until midnight madnessPoor guys user name is already dated
As is my damn profile pic.
Might have to switch it back to my fav johnnie of all time D’Angelo Harrison
RP would have had a much easier time if he kept some of the current players. He chose to go the much more difficult route and to clean house. This makes his job much more difficult but it shows us all that he is determined to make SJ a winner and will go the extra mile to do so. Again I hate to lose all of these kids but I trust his process and am extremely excited to see the results. The band aid is off and RP is in
There is 0 chance hes coming back. He has already been recruited over and that will be official soon.Reading Posh's farewell tweet , apparently keeping door open to return to st johns. I read that as, "Show me some love, coach, and I'll be back."
Problem is that Pitino doesn't love him the way he needs to be loved. If he did, we wouldn't have gotten this far.Reading Posh's farewell tweet , apparently keeping door open to return to st johns. I read that as, "Show me some love, coach, and I'll be back."
These kids have a lot of different voices in their ears saying stuff like "you're better then that!", "he(RP) doesn't appreciate you", "you can get more money elsewhere" etc etc. In the old days these kids would have jumped at the chance to be coached by one of the all time greats. No more. The only question I would like answered truthfully is how many of these kids were asked for buy in and just couldn’t commit. I mean we will NEVER know the conditions attached. The reason I am curious is if a HOF Coach with a proven track record dropped on my doorstep when I was 20 I think I would try very hard to get onboard.
I believe this is a two way street where some guys were not wanted but a couple appear to not want it. If that’s true it’s very telling. That may not be FAIR but …
AmenThe increased number of jagoffs coming out of the woodwork on this board is astounding. If you’re an alleged fan/supporter/alum of this team how can you not wish anything but the best for kids that donned this uniform and are now going elsewhere to play out the last year or two of their dream?
We’re talking about 18,19,20 year olds who have given it their all for the program. Don’t you think they’d have wanted a different result than what’s transpired the last few years?
And then to panic over the coach ONE WEEK into his tenure as if he’s never done this before. It’s laughable.
I’m fine with starting with a clean slate and hope it works for all parties, but some of you malakas need a reality check.
