Maybe Pete needed to hit the road and get some needed cold polar bear weather. Lindor having a good september and what else can you say about Diaz.Another great comeback win. Polar Bear and Lindor clutch HR's and Buck stringing together pitchers to get the win. Diaz Superman as usual. Nats tried to help us but fell short. Let's sweep tomorrow. 95-55, 40 games over 500!!! LFGM!!!!!!
I felt the same way--maybe we need to bring back Tug McGraw's mantra--"Ya Gotta Believe"I'll be honest when we failed to drive in a run early with the bases loaded last night and then fell behind 4-0, I thought the game was all but over.
Thankfully our dynamic duo proved me way wrong. What an unbelievable one-two punch they've become.
I can live with the standings not changing but we can't afford any injuries especially with Marte out. Hopefully the Nimmo injury is minor and McNeil was just banged around a little. So we finally get an assist from the Nats and what happens? We get embarrassed by the Brewers. We also may have lost Nimmo and McNeil for a couple of games. Typical Mets luck.
I'm predicting that the season ends in a tie and we have to play a one game, winner takes all, Division Championship, which we win, of course!
Big guns lined up for A's this w/e with Jake, Max and Bassitt going; and with 2 day;s off next week, the same three scheduled for Atlanta next weekendReally pumped up about this Oakland series.
Nothing like playing your traditional rivals in the final week of the season!the
If anyone wants to fly out to meet me for a game, I'm seeing tickets available for $11.Really pumped up about this Oakland series.

$11 should get you in the A’s dugout, maybe manage the team! I turned on the A’s/Mariners game (no I don’t know why) yesterday. The official crowd was 4 thousand something. The Coliseum looked empty and dead. Sad. I don’t blame fans there. They gave them nothing. If anyone wants to fly out to meet me for a game, I'm seeing tickets available for $11.
It really is a charming stadium.
