2022 Mets

Another great comeback win. Polar Bear and Lindor clutch HR's and Buck stringing together pitchers to get the win. Diaz Superman as usual. Nats tried to help us but fell short. Let's sweep tomorrow. 95-55, 40 games over 500!!! LFGM!!!!!!

Maybe Pete needed to hit the road and get some needed cold polar bear weather. Lindor having a good september and what else can you say about Diaz.

I felt the same way--maybe we need to bring back Tug McGraw's mantra--"Ya Gotta Believe"
 
So we finally get an assist from the Nats and what happens? We get embarrassed by the Brewers. We also may have lost Nimmo and McNeil for a couple of games.🤞 Typical Mets luck.
I'm predicting that the season ends in a tie and we have to play a one game, winner takes all, Division Championship, which we win, of course!😉

I can live with the standings not changing but we can't afford any injuries especially with Marte out. Hopefully the Nimmo injury is minor and McNeil was just banged around a little.

Their are no tie breaker games because of the expanded playoffs. The tie breaker is the season series. The Mets would win the tie breaker with one win in Atlanta.
 
Bummer. I thought Buck went too long with Walker. He walked a man right after Adames hit the HR. Didn’t matter anyway as Drew Smith still throws just one speed and boom. Game over. Need to score to win and we’ll, not today. Blown opportunity to put some pressure on the Braves.

Oh well. Need to get ready for Oakland. Won’t be easy as A’s stink but they tend to hang around and when I see them they are feisty. Also don’t like playing in that crappy cavernous mostly empty ballpark. OF depth is thin and OF dimensions are big with lots of ground to cover.

$11 should get you in the A’s dugout, maybe manage the team! I turned on the A’s/Mariners game (no I don’t know why) yesterday. The official crowd was 4 thousand something. The Coliseum looked empty and dead. Sad. I don’t blame fans there. They gave them nothing.

Hopefully, some Mets fans show up to give some energy. They were advertising fireworks night for tonight. I worry about the Mets getting ambushed in the dead zone. Gotta keep pushing.
 
We finally have an edge in the loss column, thanks to a gem of a pitching duel last night between the Braves and the Phils. Now we have to stay up in the loss column and win this division. It's looking better right now but...it IS the Mets! LOL!
LFGM!!!
