Shaky but somehow, even with deGrom pitching but they got it done. They can clinch at least a playoff spot with a win in Milwaukee. 93-55 38 over .500 new high water mark for the season. Can’t complain.
Mets have 14 games left. 7-7 gets them to 100 wins. I bet we all would’ve taken that when the season started. Of course, it probably will take more than 100 wins to take the division.

Max was unreal tonight; probably the best game he pitched for the Mets. 6 perfect innings, 9K's and only 68 pitches incredibly efficient.

I thought that I heard Gary say something about them needing to win this game to stay in it. Maybe I was too excited about the Mets getting into the playoffs or maybe I misinterpreted what he said. Either way we just put them one step closer to being out of it and they are still going to come at us hard tomorrow.
