FINALLY!!! We needed this win. I think that Buck had a talk with his guys and got them to concentrate on small ball. They did a good job tonight.Carrasco started poorly but hung in there and came through. Vogs finally woke up and actually got the winning RBI. Maybe we have turned this corner. Now on to winning the division!

A huge sigh of relief is heard in Queens. More runs scored by Mets in tonight's game than in 3 games versus the Cubs. Go Figure. One full game up on the Braves who now have the Phillies for 6 of the next 9.

One win but it felt good to get the stink off from the Cubs series. They need to have a good weekend and this was a good start. Big picture is 90 win mark has been hit. Nice to see they got something from DH spot. The numbers they showed on the game last night were ugly.

Edit: Well the Fillies didn’t hang on. Relief pitcher walks the 9 hitter and boom Acuna blasts 2 run bomb. 3-2 Braves.

Another solid win. Bassitt did a good job through 6 and Peterson looked good out of the pen. Escobar on fire, finally. Jake on the hill tomorrow. Hopefully we sweep. Phils not keeping up their end.
