2022 Mets

Guggugy
Petey is having an amazing season but lets not overlook Lindor.

He's looking like 100 Runs, 25 Ding Dongs, 110 Ribbies, 16 Steals and played every game but 1.

Only 9 Errors at SS.

After last year he's back to his old self and worth every penny.

Pete and Lindor are MVPs 1A and1B of this club.

This is one of those rare trades that has so far worked out extremely well for both teams.

Rosario and Gimenez are a great young duo for Cleveland while Lindor is having the best year of his career and Cookie is a really solid starter.

1C is McNeil. He can play any position (maybe they should pitch him one day 😉) and he is sooooo clutch. 317BA and an amazing fielder. He is an amazing athlete as well. A real team player. Invaluable. Resign him now!

Weather can be an issue in the ATL this weekend. Lets win our two before those.
I'm being forced to evacuate today. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to Orlando (the closest place I could get a room!).
The series with Atlanta is definitely in jeopardy!

I used to live on Harbour Island 10 years ago. I'm afraid it will be underwater along with Davis Island. They are great places to live and I hope they don't get hit too hard.

Tampa almost never gets direct hits so its going to be scary.

I think Brady is living in Jeters old house (Castle) on Davis Island right on the water.

Glad you evacuated, it is the smartest way to deal with a storm like this. I have a place in Breezy point and wasn't there for Sandy but know folks who would not leave and they spent the most frightening night of their lives there. Good Luck

Thank you. We'll see what's left in a couple of days.

Gotta think Mets/Braves may be rain out on Friday. Could be day/night DH on Saturday (and hopefully not on Sunday given Monday games for both teams. Tonight is must win.

Looking at the forecast it seems more likely to have the rainout on Saturday but who knows. Like you said tonight is a must win.

Last night's game was very special for me. During the game my sister in New York called me to inform me that my oldest sister, who lived in Arizona and was a fanatical Mets fan, had passed away. We were down 4-0 at that point. Even though I was upset, I was stuck in this hotel because of the hurricane and I kept watching. I started yelling at the TV telling the Mets that they had to come back and win this one for my sister. Then magic happened. WOW!
