Tonight's game should be a real pitcher's dual. deGrom vs Anderson. Anderson is no slouch. 13-2 with a 2.69 ERA. This should be a fun game. Hopefully our guys get some runs for Jake to work with. It's not going to be easy.
Glad I missed this game even though ironically I parked in citifield to go to the open. I texted my friends this last night any idiots who take up 5 parking spots for corn hole and 2 more for their cars need to be throat punched.

Yup. I mentioned Saturday night was a shit show. They forced me out of the lot going west. No option. I need to go East. Then treated to a tour of Flushing Meadow Park in a snake line of cars trying to find the East. LOL.
Last night exposed the Mets failure to address the bullpen. They are at least two guys short. Another arm and another if not TWO left handed arms. Joely Rodriguez stinks. This isn’t news. He ain’t it. The three batter rule has rendered him useless.
I see the Braves, I see the Dodgers and they both have MULTIPLE left handed guys. They dominate left handed hitters. Not the Mets. It’s a shortcoming that Eppler never addressed. The other arm “might” have a solution if Megill can come back. But do we know if he can get and stay healthy? Can he pitch every other day? As our fellow poster Andrew pointed out missing on Robertson was a huge miss. Oh well, too late now. On to the next one.
Tougher Pitcher today but the bats will jump on him early to get up 3. deGrom goes 6 strong but gives up 2 in the 7th as Buck asks a bit too much. Timmy Trumpet gets to play live for us and Muttsies win 3-2
My sister went to that game and said that the parking problem was NOT due to all the people going to the US Open but due to rude people playing in the parking lot and inconsiderate drivers parking over the lines and taking up extra spaces. And that's why I live in Florida.

wHAT A GAME. Finally a game under 2hours 20 minutes. You don't need a lot of runs for excitement. This was old time ball. And yes on to tomorrow.

Kershaw off the DL to start only goes 5 but strong giving up 2. Bassitt struggles giving up 4 in 4 innings.
Dodgers Bullpen crushes the Mutts Mutts-pen.
