2022 Mets

Dammit. Mets/Pirates rained out today.

Split doubleheader Wednesday. Nothing like screwing up a rotation with yet another DH. Not good. We lead the league in doubleheader’s. I believe we have played more than double DHs than any other team or something like that.

We've played 8 DHs. I don't know if that's the most in MLB. We've won 4 and split four. I don't like the way things are going right now either.

I‘m bored without the Mets today. In MLB there have been 51 DHs. The Mets will have played in 9 of them by Wednesday. LOL.
 
They need to Sweep these guys and start taking care of business against the bottom rung. Atlanta is a 95 win team
 
Well, we’ll take it. 5-1 win at Pittsburgh makes Mets 86-51. Probably going to need the 2nd game because I do not expect anything from Oakland. DeGrom pitching but you just never know with baseball. Bats still look lethargic to me.
 
Bassitt gives us the stopper. Naquin played for Marte who got plunked on the hand and gets the game winning HR. BTW, did anyone hear what Gary Cohen said about the Mets and never in MLB history has a team lost three games in a row by 6 or more runs to teams that were 30 games or more out of the running. Only the Mets! LOL!
Now lets take care of business and sweep! Jake's on the mound tonight and Diaz didn't have to pitch this afternoon. I think that we have a good chance.🤞

So can the Braves. 😏 Let’s stay positive.

They have a trip to Seattle this weekend and 7 games with the Fillies left. Mets need to win their games and let the chips fall where they fall. The last 3 games were very, um, frustrating though. 🙂

Braves have one of the best lineups in the league and some mighty fine starters. They'd be a first place team in most divisions. Mucho Scary

The Muttsies didn't address the BP and the offense is not bunching hits like they did.

That being said I still like our pitching in the playoffs. But Petey gotta wake up.
