Mike, you guys got to see a real thriller today. Great game! Bill and his wife are great people. I'm glad that you guys got to know each other.
Great series win over the team with the best record in baseball. The Braves must be wondering if we're ever going to lose so that they can catch up! Now I hope that we don't have an emotional letdown with the Nationals. LFGM!!!!!!!

Mike thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you and your lovely Nathalie. Had a great time. I can now say I have met yourself and Greg from the Board! Awesome meeting and putting faces to the names.

By the way, you scared the hell out of me as Nimmo went back on that ball! Thank God they just missed twice.

Mets exceeded my hopes versus the Dodgers. Little things on defense made the difference like Lux/Mookie miscue. Very typical difference between Mets and opposition. Continued their 3 game lead over Braves probably something Braves were not expecting . gotta keep the foot down on the gas for the next 16 games and get some distance on the Braves.

Ok guys. Question. Does Vogelbach's inability to run negate his ability to hit? Your thoughts, please.

What’s crazy is he has a great eye. So his .OBP is good. Of course you need two or three hits to drive him in.

I was not a fan of this move. For a couple of weeks he made me look silly. He’s floated down a little the last couple of weeks. Tonight is a good night though. Bigger concern is we need Ruf to pick up the pace. They are basically platooning those two and results need to improve.

Another win!!! The Braves must be so frustrated! They win but we win also! Given' props to Givens tonight. Good job out of the pen. He deserved the win. Nimmo crazy with the bat. Polar Bear getting back on track with the game winning run #27, a home run. McNeil and Canha contributing as they always do. Good all around win. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! LFGM!!!

Amazing how Buck has convinced McNeil that hitting 6th is important and he has accepted that role rather than being lead off or in the two hole and then having Canha in the 7 hole. This something about the strength of the line up that even at the bottom of the line up, the team is dangerous even though they are missing Guillorme. Is Escobar waking up as seen in tonight's game as he is hitting beneath his career numbers?

If Escobar does and we get Guillorme back (which we're supposed to soon), this is a very dangerous lineup that most ML pitchers won't want to face!

Glad I missed this game even though ironically I parked in citifield to go to the open. I texted my friends this last night any idiots who take up 5 parking spots for corn hole and 2 more for their cars need to be throat punched.

And the idiots who haven't played little league in 30 years playing catch in between cars and cant catch a focking ball putting all other cars at risk for their ineptitude need to be banned for life
+10000 can't wait to deal with this shit at the Jets game where someone's (not even involved) car ends up as the end zone where some d#ck makes a diving catch onto it.

I saw this and thought it was interesting.

Plenty of numbers but the Mets are 39-30 against >.500 teams. The Braves are only 27-30. A losing record. This is with the Mets having played 12 more games against those teams. The Mets only have 6 more games (3 Brewers and 3 Braves) left Against winning teams. The Braves have 13 (7 Fillies, 3 Seattle, 3 Mets).

I don’t read too much into it but…Mets have played better against a tougher schedule. Of course you have to beat whoever is on that schedule but the Mets destruction of the Phillies seems to be the key. Atlanta will need to replicate that. (7 games) to take the division away.

Yuck. The offense did nothing. Scherzer left early and I have no idea what left side “fatigue” is. My whole body is in a state of fatigue every day and I am significantly older than Max. Alonso is in a bad stretch and I can’t remember when the Volgelbach/Ruf platoon had a hit. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln the play was great.

Need to wash this game away quickly and win today.

No sugar coating this one. One loss was bad enough. Two, no bueno. Offense better get back on the beam quickly. Weather could screw us in Pittsburgh as well DH’s at this point are a bad idea. Last thing we need.
