I met Keith at MacArthur airport a couple of times. He never liked when people asked who he was when I made such a fuss over him. He's such a humble man. He didn't want the attention.

Hoping to take another series win today.Yesterday's game was a "Ya Gotta Believe" game. The last time Mets had a walk off game thanks to an error was Game 6 of 1986 World Series. Apropos on Keith's day. Diaz now has struck out 50% of the batters he has faced this year--outrageous.

I don't feel good about the up coming series in Atlanta with players out and lack of hitting of late.

The real test begins tonight. We're either going to come out of Atlanta with a 4.5 game lead (impossible!), a 2.5 game lead ( I'll take it!), a .5 game lead ( more likely) or .5 game in second place (YIKES! I hope that doesn't happen!).

Andrew, my math skills as a SJU grad aren't that good. LOL! I meant a game and a half out with a sweep. I agree with your fears about playing without McNeil and Marte. Cubs on Thursday.

WOW!!! What a great win. We just sent a message to the Braves. Scherzer and Diaz were phenomenal! Just what we needed.
Awesome win without Marti and McNeil in the line up. Interesting how Buck moved Lindor to the 2 spot and Pete hitting third. Both produced. Guillorme quietly having a good year in field and at bat--his second HR of the year equaling his first four year total.
