The Astros are a tough team to beat. They seem to have our number. I hope that the Yankees beat them in the playoffs so we don't have to face them again!

Additional bat is a sneaky need for the Mets. Bullpen/pitching is the top need but not completely sold on JD or Dom as DH. First time Mets lost 3 in a row so…can’t kill them. Said all along Baseball is a marathon not a sprint. Cliche but true.
By the way, anyone else watch the Keith Hernandez show produced for SNY. Besides being a fun watch I believe I spied a little St. John’s logo on Jay Horowitz I think. Gotta recognize a little Johnnies love.

Well played win today against Texas. Everyone did their jobs. Escobar is finally breaking out. The bullpen did their job. Diaz was his usual self having to let the tying run get to the plate twice and then getting them both out. Another series win and another good day of baseball for our Mets! I can't wait to see Scherzer this week and DeGrom has to be getting close. The second half should be fun!
I don’t follow minor league baseball too much, but I hear the Mets have high hopes for that deGrom guy, and some other pitcher. I think his name is Scherzer.
Going into Cincinatti to play the worst team in ML Baseball with possibly the worst ownership. The owner's son, who he made president of the team, is baseball's answer to Dolan of the Knicks. Phil Castelini insults the Reds fans yet team jasn;t won a playoff series since 1995 and under Castellini since 2006 only 5 winning seasons out of 15 years.
My buddy's college roommate is one of this guys best friends. Phil is the same age as us. My buddy has met him bunch of times and said he's always been a cocky sob
Another W over a team we should beat. Smith a little shaky out of the BP but got the job done. Good job by Lugo for the save. Walker has 7 wins already. The backup starters are doing a great job. Can't wait to watch Scherzer tomorrow! 50 wins already! If the second half has the promise that I expect we should have 100 and hopefully 110!
