Seth Lugo went on the paternity list. When he comes back we will probably send back down Lopez or Medina.Good win today. Petersen did a good job and the bullpen came through. Who did we lose off the pitching roster?
It became a strikeout and homerun league and that made baseball boring like watching Nolan Ryan and Dave Kingman 24/7.Analytics and launch angle ruined baseball. Mets are showing you can win playing old school
Small ball still has its place. Manufacturing a run without a hit counts just as much as a 500 foot home run.So far one of the most exciting Mets seasons in years. Player enthusiam is infectious. Nice mix of home grown players and free agents. Buck's post game comments can be hilarious to listen to--yesterday talking about Long Beach State. Loved when he responded to Mets playing "small ball"--he told the reporter "what;s small about it"; "360 feet is 360 feet; that's what it takes to tour the bases". Yesterday was a perfect example of Buck Ball.
Amazing stat is the Mets stand at #18 in MLB in home runs and they are first in runs scored.
I think that it should be Medina. He needs some more seasoning.Seth Lugo went on the paternity list. When he comes back we will probably send back down Lopez or Medina.
The money grab continues. I pay for SNY with Directv. I also pay a few hundred bucks for the MLB package. The MLB package use to be sold as if you have access to “ALL MLB” games. Obviously, this has changed. Yeah, yeah I know the wording on the MLB season pass was probably tweaked so they can do exactly what they are doing. But no, no, I am not paying for anymore streaming services.Heads up. Sundays Mets - Marlins game is a noon start and Peacock exclusive.

For God‘s sake I already have Amazon Prime AND Apple TV but I’m suppose to get Peacock. Screw that. I got some yard work and an empty gazeebo out back. Like 1980 all over again I’ll pop Howie Rose on the radio. On top of that the beer is not going to drink itself.
I'll kick back and do it the old way. I'll listen on my radio (wish I had a old school transistor) while sitting on the deck. Howie Rose does the games but I will mis Eddie Coleman who retired this year. You can get WCBS 880 on the internet if you want to listen--it is freeNot 100% sure but I think Peacock has a free version where baseball games are available.
Where are you located ? I have the same Directv set up but here in Charlotte, but the Braves, Nats, Orioles and Reds all claim the marketplace so those games are not on the package and I have to watch their announcers through the sportspack.
