If I am the Jets, I don't think I can pass on Zach Wilson.  That guy looks like a really special player.
I'm starting to agree with that postion as well.

Now I have to go find some tape of a BYU game. I trust Douglas here. This is from Ozzie Newsome who I think is the best GM in football. Q: What are the qualities that Jets fans will grow to appreciate from general manager Joe Douglas?A: Joe’s very thorough — very, very thorough. He’s a very good listener, and he has an unbelievable keen eye for talent. He has a way to describe a player that everybody in the meeting can understand what that player is and what he’s about.

If there's a bright side, the Jets were actually trying to win. I don't think I've seen a team more committed to tanking than the Jags since the 1983-84 Penguins.
Colts for Luck.
Biggest tank job this side of the 76'ers.

The 76rs had more tanks than a Rommel panzer division

Mixed feelings on Zach Wilson. He didn't look great when I saw him against Coastal Carolina when he was under pressure. Was fantastic against a poor UCF defense. That is why I am glad I don't have to make the decision. Let's find a coach first and worry later.

Saw some football analysts on twitter today saying there's "no way" the Jets don't take a QB. With the second pick.

so hold on tight it's gonna be a long 4-5 months of speculation. If fields plays well head to head against Lawrence, it'll shake things up quite a bit

The Buffalo Bills play this evening on Monday night football again New England Patriots.

Go Bills!!

New York's team won 38 to 9 to go 11 wins and 3 losses.

On to Miami next week for the final regular season game.

You are going to have to trade up to get him.

perhaps not. It's possible we trade our pick and get additional picks. Not clear how high he goes as well.

Sure.  Not only is the draft order not finalized yet, but there's no way to know who takes which players, and which players fall further than current projections.

Still, top backs tend to go late first or early-to-mid 2nd.   He's either the top back in this draft os a close 2nd.

Right now you are projected to pick: 2, 27, 34, 66.

Think Miami wouldn't love to give Tua two of his former security blankets to play with in Harris and Smith/Waddle?  They pick 3, 23, 36 and 54 as of now.   Figure they will trade down a few spots and take one of the WR in the top 10.   They can't wait until 36 to get Harris, because you have two picks before Miami at 34 and 27.  That means Miami is going to have to take him at 23 if they really want him, which means you have to be prepared to move in front of them to steal him, or roll the dice and hope he falls to 27.

I've been under the assumption Harris would be there for the Jets late first round pick. Maybe... maybe not. Here's to hoping Seattle gets bounced in the first round of the playoffs.

Also, BYU QB Zach Wilson just declared for the draft via Twitter.

a lot of Jets buzz with him at No. 2
