Well, I hope what’s unsaid is “...with necessary Staff changes.”
Otherwise, some strong Kool-Aid being drunk, imo.

I'm not. This program is in shambles. Probably going to lose 4 out of our best 5 players, our best recruit is decommitting, we just got absolutely embarrassed on the national stage last night, our best (and only) recruiter is leaving, and we have nothing else coming in to look forward to. This is just a dumpster fire. How can you possibly bring this dunce back?

Cragg holds cards close to vest.

There was only one response Cragg could have given there. He'll do what is needed.

No way a guy spends decades at Duke and is satisfied with the current state of our program.

Reports are Alabama and Avery Johnson negotiating a buyout. Made NCAA last season his third and won a game with freshman Colin Sexton a one and done player. This year first team out of NCAA and were a no show in first round NIT loss at home to Norfolk St. Gave him 4 years to produce. This year signed 3 four star wings, in with a overall top 30 big Trendon Watford and this year had a terrific freshmen point guard 17 year old Kira Lewis a highly rated HS player. Fan base got extremely restless and wanted him out. New AD of a couple of years Greg Byrne making the move apparently.

Here is the story. A few years ago the then SEC Commissioner Mike Slive told his members to start getting serious about basketball. Meaning don't just rely on how great a football conference we are and rely on Florida and Kentucky to carry everyone else in basketball. Get serious. Start spending money. Then you saw Bruce Pearl hired at Auburn, Howland hired at Miss St. etc...

BTW-That is a lot of money thy will eat for Avery J.

Interesting that GW is hiring the Siena coach. The rumor down here for the past two weeks is that JT3 was the favorite for that job.

Wow lost Darius Garland to season ending injury, top PG. What did I just say about the SEC getting serious about basketball? 3 years, 1 NCAA and he is out.

Avery Johnson 4 years, 3 NIT's and 1 NCAA and he is out.

I think Avery and Bama both knew he was in this position just to get Collin Sexton and it worked. But Sexton had his one year and now he’s gone. No reason to keep going

Both Johnson and Drew has also recently brought in highly-rated classes, too.

But nah..... Let's all celebrate crapping the bed as a play-in participant (like we're William & Mary or James Madison) only because we sucked three years ago, and totally ignore the red flags and pink elephant in the room.

Well, there are lots of former head coaches who would probably be happy to land with a lead assistant/associate head coach gig at a Big East program...

Whomever we get to replace assistants, please don't make it Mullin's successor. They're assistants for a reason. If Mullin resigns or is let go after next year, we need to get a head coach.
I'm pretty sure that every head coach started out as an assistant. Coaches have to get their start somewhere.
My memory is that Jarvis was never an assistant coach in college. Went straight from Boston Latin where he has Ewing to GWU head coach.

Le Moyne head coach Patrick Beilein is in the mix at both Niagara and Mercer, source told @Stadium. Beilein is the son of Michigan head coach John Beilein.
