Lavin knew he was out. Extremely tough to recruit with two years left on contract. Also, it was no secret Mullin was being mentioned to taking over the job.
Lavin at least sold the program. Was always on TV getting our name out there. I think it is disgraceful the school has not sent anything out as of yet about Ponds going pro. When Harkless went pro Lavin at least set something up to do it via press conference at MSG.[/quote]
Speaking of Harkless, the other day I saw a kid playing an NBA videogame playing as Portland. Saw Harkless dunk it right at that moment...honestly a really cool moment seeing one of our own making it and sticking. We need much more of those stories.
