Griffin a good player but a punk like Grayson Allen.

Very good player;

UConn, Ole miss, Xavier, Georgia, Illinois, Dayton, UMass, St.Johns, DePaul, Western Kentucky, Cincinnati have reached out to @RiderMBB transfer @dimencio_vaughn
Would be good replacement for LJ. Still the need for a big man of course.

Didn't he go to school in the South for a year or two. Wonder if CMA and TJ know him from his time down there.
The fact that we are recruiting him, it seems staff knows LJ’s likely intentions. Can’t wait for LJ forever so I’m assuming some sort of time limit on this thing.

Vaughn will be long gone before LJ decides imo. That said, like many, I expect LJ back

Possible reason for never getting a big, Zach Brown curse? :)

We were cursed before that...
We can break the Zach Brown curse by bringing in Zach Brown. He still has eligibility.
Hey, is he free now? Any eligibility left?
I wonder if former Mets Sidd Finch pitcher has anyone eligible?
Just committed to Iona.

My apologies if this was posted a few days ago and I missed it.

Boubacar Diakite transferring from Weber St.

Diakite, a native of Mali, joined WSU this offseason after redshirting at St. John’s and playing part of a season at Iowa Western Community College. The 6-foot-7 forward is a former four-star recruit who tore his ACL at IWCC. The projected starter then hit a bump in his rehabilitation and recovery, which limited him to appearances in three games this season.
Looks like we will probably get Arnaldo Torro.

Looks like a Sears clone sadly.
He's an upgrade over Sears. He had back-back games this season where he grabbed 24 rebounds and 18 rebounds this season, that's not a small feat. He essentially averaged 7 and 7 this year while battling injuries and playing inconsistent minutes. If he's fully healthy and comes in with a chip on his shoulder for his final year, could be a steal.

All the big time impact post players are pretty much gone by this time in the Spring. Marfo, was probably best case scenario, and now that he's off the table we're pretty much looking at some remaining JUCO guys and other grad transfers with similar stats as Toro. IMO, you just want a guy that can make the rotation and contribute and not be a liability on the floor, I'm thinking Nick Rutherford type contributions, except at the 4/5 spot. You add a guy like that, and if Roberts continues to improve, comes back healthy, adds some weight, and Moore gives us something his first year, that 5 spot may not be as bad as some think.

How exactly does it look like we’re getting him ?

He will commit here in a few days.

Torro had a very effective soph year, started out strong as a junior but got hurt and missed the season. Last year he didn't play as much, maybe not 100% healthy. If he gets back to sophomore form could be a useful rebounding piece for us getting put back baskets underneath. Hope you're right on imminent commitment.

Sorry, but hard to get excited about this guy. Had very pedestrian stats on a poor GW team. Would be elated if he turned out to be as valuable as Rutherford. I think Sears-level production is more likely.
